Staff-members are subject to various influences, not only the workplace affects their well-being. Having sick children or old parents that they have to care for, financial problems, relationship problems, health difficulties, mourning the loss of a loved one, having a spouse that is unemployed, trouble with colleagues, poor salary, etc. All these possible situations affect labour productivity in a sustainable way. To find a way out of this, an employer should co-operate with a counsellor to sort out the situation for his employee to gain productivity of his entire staff again.
